At the beginning of June 2025, interesting and ‘new’ videos go viral. But the visualised content is well known – it has been for thousands of years.
The videos present the stories of the Bible from a vlog perspective.
They are produced as if they were filmed on location. The implications of these possibilities are manifold – Veo 3 was used to create them.
The first video begins with the crucifixion of Jesus and then shows a collection of various stories and their respective protagonists.
The sequences on David and Goliath and Moses parting the sea are particularly well done.
The next video shows scenes from the biblical narrative of creation: Adam and Eve.
While the video appears authentic overall (from a technical point of view), it is noticeable that the characters do not appear consistent. Their appearance changes depending on the scene.
In the third video, the ‘camera’ is held by Moses.
The portrayal of the characters is very consistent. This supports the video snippets in their effect as a coherent narrative.
The same can be observed in the following video, which is supposed to depict the story of David and Goliath. (Unfortunately, however, the fight sequence was not recorded because the ‘camera was not working properly’.)
The last video shows various unknown individuals filming from among crowds of people. Jesus can be seen performing his miracles. The video is accompanied by music and subtitles.
