3rd place:
Carboarding
The latest trend: skating on cars—for example, in your local park.
The video features clips reminiscent of early footage of skate culture.
The images are edited with media artifacts that give the video an older “look”.
Likewise, the “camera movement” is partly modeled on the shaky footage of authentic amateur videos.
Later on, we see a “TV report” about the trend, including an ominous mini-story at the end.
2nd place:
Men go through a lot in every species
In this clip, it is not immediately apparent that the image has been manipulated.
After all, nature is extremely diverse and seemingly strange animal behavior can be found everywhere.
But if you don't let yourself be distracted by the title of the video, you will quickly find the striking details in the image:
The water droplets on and around the wings move in a physically unrealistic way.
And:
The beak of the upper bird disappears into the head of the lower bird.
1st place:
We're 99.9% sure nano-banana is from Google.
The title indicates that this video was posted before Nano-Banana was released.
This didn't happen until a week later, on August 26, 2025.
The online hype is huge—and justified: the model is another milestone in AI development.
It enables high-quality image processing via text prompts and runs on Google's Gemini.
In the video example, we see a sequence of edited images with animated transitions (with Kling).
The music in the video is also interesting.
Going Through Changes by Eminem should be taken as a reference.
Both to the capabilities of the new AI model and, more generally, to the fact that technology is undergoing profound change.
